Hey I just got a d16y8 head off of a 96 civic ex. Anyone done this head swap before, if so what head gasket did you use and timing belt. Also does anyone know how much extra power this will give me or what kinda 1/4 mile times it runs? Thanks

Im swapping it onto my D16a6 block. I know the distrubutor bolts up but what head gasket do I need and timing belt.

just use the same stuff you had, IE: headgasket, T-Belt... it all bolt's together... however you will need a RPM Switch to activate the Vtec.
